Mitch Davis lives with his wife in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. Finding Richard, his first published novel, was inspired by personal experiences with members of his family who suffer from mental illness. An avid reader, Mitch facilitates a guy’s-only book club called “Books & Beer,” which he jokes is just an excuse to have a few drinks with his buddies. He enjoys spending time with his granddaughter, woodworking, hiking, canoeing and being with family and friends at his log cabin retreat in southwestern Wisconsin.
Richard Buell is surrounded by people that love him. But greater in number and in strength are those who want him to suffer. Peace and happiness are as distant to him as the stars, and he clings to the hope that death might provide him with the comfort he seeks. In the midst of unbearable hardship, Richard is given a gift that transforms him and the people he loves forever.
Finding Richard is a story about the love of family, about tragedy and transformation and, most importantly, about forgiveness.Download for Kindle Try a sample of the Audiobook or Buy it on Amazon
